Present Opportunities : Software Developer (two positions )
Software Developer
Code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions. Participate in the evolution of IT
Distribution projects including:
- Implementation of new customers.
The IT platform consists of Unix and Linux-based C++ business objects and J2EE-based front-end UI
modules.
Development of new and improvement of existing software solutions
Design technical solutions and perform studies that may include prototypes
Propose viable tech solutions to Product Definition analysts and end users for validation
Provide status updates to the Project Management team for software solutions
Model, design & implement database changes as necessary
Conduct unit, package and performance tests to ensure quality. Participate in the validation/acceptance phase
of the product cycle.
Produce software documentation
Support the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to Problem Tracking
Records & Change Requests.
Provide 2nd level support to customers
Assist with maintaining internal development environments at most recent application code versions
Assist with sales initiatives ensuring software is accurate, reliable & customized for the target audience
